IDRA Dry Eye Platform by SBM Medical is a state-of-the-art diagnostic system designed to provide a comprehensive structural analysis of the tear film and Meibomian glands.
Using high-resolution imaging and intelligent software, IDRA evaluates all components of the tear film—lipid, aqueous, and mucin—as well as the condition of the Meibomian glands. This allows clinicians to precisely identify the type of Dry Eye Disease (DED) and recommend targeted treatment based on specific deficiencies.
The platform includes multiple advanced diagnostic features such as interferometry, tear meniscus measurement, non-invasive tear break-up time (NIBUT), 3D Meibography, blepharitis evaluation, ocular redness classification, and pupillometry. It also captures detailed anterior segment images and offers white-to-white corneal diameter measurements.
IDRA is also the only system that includes Dry Eye Follow-Up, a proprietary mobile app that sends test results directly to the patient’s smartphone—empowering continuous care and monitoring.
