Convertible illumination

This unit ships with LED illumination at 4,000K — a neutral, high-contrast white light that enhances retinal detail and reduces eye strain during extended sessions. The convertible design allows the LED module to be swapped for a traditional halogen bulb without tools, giving the clinician flexibility to adapt to personal or institutional preference without purchasing a separate instrument.

The same optics, headband rheostat, and single-control aperture system

Brightness is controlled directly from the headband rheostat — not from a separate unit across the room — adjustable from full 2,000 lux output down to 2% for sensitive examinations. A single control adjusts both aperture size and position simultaneously across three aperture options plus a wide-angle soft light diffuser. Built-in IR/UV filtration protects both patient and clinician throughout every examination.
