Where other instruments require manual adjustments between aperture settings, the Vantage Plus eliminates that step entirely through its patented Intelligent Optical System — a mechanism exclusive to this platform that automatically reconfigures optics and mirrors in a single movement, delivering three-dimensional stereoscopic retinal views at every pupil size without interrupting examination flow.

Intelligent Optical System (IOS) — Keeler’s exclusive

Selecting small, medium, or large aperture on the Vantage Plus triggers an automatic internal adjustment of the viewing optics and light source positioning — no lever to flip, no secondary control to engage. For large, fully-dilated pupils, the optics separate and the light source positions upward for maximum stereopsis. For intermediate pupils, both elements move to a mid position. For small pupils, optics and light source converge to allow visualization through the most restricted dilation. The result is uninterrupted stereoscopic depth across all examination scenarios.

Neutral LED at 4,000K — clinically superior to xenon

The Vantage Plus LED module operates at a neutral 4,000K color temperature — cooler and whiter than the 3,800K xenon bulb it can replace. Clinically, this cooler spectrum reveals retinal pathologies that warmer xenon illumination obscures, particularly in subtle lesions and peripheral detail. The convertible design allows the LED module to be swapped for a traditional bulb without tools, accommodating personal or institutional preference without requiring a separate instrument.

Up to 6 hours wireless — the longest runtime in the lineup

The Slimline lithium-polymer battery weighs just 53 grams and, combined with the efficiency of LED illumination, delivers up to six hours of continuous use on a single charge — three times the runtime of the All Pupil II wireless configuration. The dock station charges both included batteries simultaneously and mounts to desktop or wall for fixed workstation setups.

15% lighter, HiMag lens included

Advanced engineering materials reduce the instrument’s footprint and weight by 15% compared to prior Vantage generations without compromising Keeler’s structural standards.
