Being a kerato-refractometer, it does the work of two instruments. In one seating it captures objective refraction (sphere −25 D to +22 D, cylinder to ±10 D, axis 0–180°), corneal curvature and keratometric power, and PD — and, exclusive to the KR-8900, corneal diameter measurement during the same test.
